If you like Lego books, as much as I do, this Lego book should be right up your alley. Especially if you like building Lego cities.
This book is 400 pages and is available for pre-order on Amazon.com. Like the previous book I featured, this book will have step-by-step instructions for creating minifig vehicles.
What I find really interesting about this book as that it seems to be focused on mini or midi scale building.
While I’ve never built anything at this scale, I’m always intrigued by it. I find the level of detail people can achieve with such small models truly amazing. I for one will be picking this up for sure.

What Lego books do you have? Which do you recommend?
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
This book looks very good! I am always looking for great LEGO books that I can get out of my local library -I have now asked them to buy this book! 😉
Huh. it never occurred to me to check the library for LEGO books. I’ll have to give that a try!
My local library doesn’t have much LEGO books on offer. I am looking for some professional building books, but so far I haven’t found any in my library. I have, however, been able to find books online and then have sent my library a request for them to buy the LEGO books that they don’t currently have.
You should give it a try! You never know, they could have a book that you have always wanted (but never had the money to buy) -that is the great thing about libraries, they are [mainly] free! 😀
I don’t have any lego book at all – yet! But I’ve also been looking for some good ones… gonna get one or two soon. Are there other books you’d recommend?
This one looks good…
I have a couple history of LEGO books that are good. I’ll have to check the titles for you. And I’ve gotten some of the DK Star Wars ones because they came with exclusive minifigures.
This one, and the one I previously posted about, look to be the best at giving you ideas and instructions for actually building stuff.
I looked through this one at the book store a few days ago… it’s great, but there are so many “micro” size models. I prefer models that match the minifig size 😉
What was the other book you’d recommend?
Interesting. I really appreciate micro scale building because it amazes me how much detail people can get in such a small model. I’d love to do a really large scale layout at this scale. But I’ve yet to build anything like this. 🙁
Here’s a link to the other book that looked pretty good:
