While checking out another Lego blog, I saw another amazing model on Flickr; this time by Simon Liu. Simon’s “Lunar Canals” is a stunning model. Love the mostly gray construction; the small space craft offering the only punch of color. (And love that the color scheme is a throw back to the Ice Planet line.)
What strikes me most about this creation is its powerful mood given its stark presentation. Are the explorers filled with dread upon making this discovery? Or is it excitement? I could see this as being the start point of a Sci-Fi horror film. One that I would gladly watch.
