“In a hole in the ground there lived a Hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a Hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.“
Comfort is exactly what LEGO Hobbits will find in this LEGO Bag End MOC. It’s just beautiful.
This LEGO Bag End is a place I’d like to visit.
It warms my heart that people are still building The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings LEGO models. They are such great books, and were a big part of my childhood. While my tastes recently have shifter more towards A Game of Thrones, Tolkien’s world still holds a special place in my heart.
I’m not sure what Bilbo is holding in the picture above. Any ideas? And while I love this recreation of Thorin’s party feasting at Bag End, I’d like the lighting to be a tad darker. It would set the scene better.
This LEGO Bag End is really well done!
But wait. There’s more. Here’s ANOTHER LEGO Hobbit Hole!
Behold the Hobbit Hole of Frodo’s trusted companion, Sam.
Just lovely.
