I don’t know if you’ve noticed any crazy LEGO sale prices lately, but they’ve been all over the place lately.  I’ve completely exhausted my LEGO budget for the near future. 🙁

Pile of Lego bricksUsually, the lowest LEGO sale prices I find are at Target’s bi-annual clearance events. Recently, I’ve scored huge savings at Target, Walmart, Meijer, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.  Yes, the bookstore. 🙂

Right now, Target has a 20% off sale on several LEGO themes, including Star Wars.  This 20% discount is being applied on TOP of some already lowered prices.  The LEGO TIE Fighter 9492 that was $54.99 is going for $35.20.

Wlamart has had some crazy pricing going on for months now.  I was able to pick up the large Lord of the Rings Helm’s Deep set for under $90.  I scored the Avengers Quinjet for less than $50.  What’s really crazy about that one is they are again stocking this set for full price ($69.99).  You never see current, licensed LEGO on sale for 30% off.  In the past week, they’d also been blowing out the Death Star for as little as $289.  They were even dumping the modular town sets for +30% off.  Crazy I tell you!

At Meijer, I just recently picked up the Sith Nightspeeder for $12.50.  Not a great set by any means, but the price per piece was just too low to pass up.  A few weeks ago, they were blowing out the $49.99 Triceratops Dino set for $17.  I just don’t get it.

Have you been lucky enough to take advantage of any of these recent sales?  What did you score?
