I’m not sure why the Lego Collectible Minifigure Series 8 Football player is so unhappy? He won the trophy.
I really wish these Lego sports players came with stickers for their numbers. I’d love to be able to field 11 of these guys, but they’d look silly all wearing #12.
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
I like the fact it’s a proper looking trophy rather than the ones that we got with previous figs like the sumo and soccer player
I too would like a ball. I’ve seen lego footballs (soccer) but not a rugby (football) ball yet, and I’d love one that looked like a rugby ball
I think I even have a Lego basketball. Certainly the could make a football. And I do like the trophy!
I haven’t gotten any of the new series yet. I’m waiting this the 1st when the Lego store will have them so I can get the VIP points for them. Can’t wait! The football player is one of my favorites, but yeah, I wish they had stickers too, so I could have a team of them. And I wish there was someway they could have made a football for him to hold
I think I’ll be getting a bunch of these from Toys R Us this week. They have a $15 off $50 Lego purchase. I should be able to get 16 figures at $2.45 each. The ones pictured here are my son’s.
I’m surprised they didn’t come up with some kind of football, too. :-/
