Tuesday evening, 12/6, I assisted several members of MichLUG in setting up our holiday DSO LEGO display. If you’re interested in checking it out, it’s on the second floor. It’s a pretty large display covering nine six-foot banquet tables.
This year’s display features two massive, iconic buildings from Detroit. Do you recognize them?
There is also a winter village, a couple trains, and the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile!
For my contribution to the DSO LEGO display, I added a 2×3 block of LEGO modulars and a 2×2 construction site. I also featured several characters from the LEGO Movie which are always a hit with the kids.
I’m now yet the prolific builder that most MichLUG members are, so my contributions are minor. I hope to change this in 2017!
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
