The incredibly talented folks of at Brotherhood Workshop have done it again. Today they bring you a LEGO Halloween treat: A Hobbit Halloween.
I’m always blown away with how smootth their animations are, an by their wonderful set designs. Very clever, and excellent writing as well.
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
Awesome video, but I’m still not sure how I feel about the non-LEGO backdrops and settings. They add a lot of realism, but take away from the LEGO feel.
Wow that was awesome!
This is amazing! Love it! =D
I too where I can buy Lego sets when discounted, although normally only buy for b’days and xmas.
However having just researched just plain boxes of bricks, you need to be doubly savvy with your purchase. Often there are lots of boxes that on the exterior are different, yet they contain the same number of bricks. There may be a slight degree of variation of which bricks are in and which colours, but there isn’t a huge deviation.
Secondly is the price, not only on the Lego website itself, but also Amazon (speaking about Amazon.uk here though). You can find near identical boxes of number of pieces and type of bricks within, but a huge variation of price between them, even for like for like.
As for any purchase, it pays to shop around to get the best deal for your money
