And now, back to LEGO!
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
oh my goodness, I thought i was losing my mind. I had the hardest time trying to log in. I wondered why I couldn’t log in with my wordpress acct. I guess I had to sign up for a separate one for this blog. I was so confused too because I had to do the same thing for brothers brick (a separate acct from this one, even though it’s still using wordpress). And it’s so strange, now that I have registered with a new acct (but i used the same user name and email address) it shows my same avatar pic when I didn’t add it to this acct. I wonder why wordpress had to make it so complicated. Anyway, happy this is done. I enjoy your site and want to comment on some posts. Happy new year to you Eric!
Love this site! I’ve been using LEGO with my (mainly special needs) students for over 20 years, ranging from models of a working windmill steering mechanism, Buddhist stories, Brick sorting machines to silly little stop motion videos. I love the freedom it gives my children to experiment, get it wrong and then put it right, without it being seen as failure.
Thank you. Your comments are very much appreciated. I think kids can learn a lot from building with LEGO. They can learn to envision a creation, and make it a reality. And like you said, if they make a mistake along the way, they can rebuild. I think LEGO goes way beyond just a toy.
