There is a new trend in the LEGO world, and I love it. A lot of very talented people are recreating somewhat mundane objects out of LEGO with stunning results. Check out this LEGO Apple II to see what I mean.
This LEGO Apple II brings back soooo many memories. While I didn’t own one, I certainly remember using them.
What I love most about this LEGO Apple II model is the attention to detail. Like Steve Jobs did with the actual Apple II, chiukeung designed every part of his LEGO Apple II; even the parts not meant to be seen by anyone. Just look at that motherboard! It’s beautiful.
If you’d like to see more LEGO models by this talented builder, I urge you to check out chiukeung’s Flickr feed.
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
What a great model! The interior… awesome!
Wow, you always see how time flies when you’re looking at old technic stuff…
For sure. I remember when this thing was state of the art. Now, smart phones have as much computing power as NASA did when they landed men on the moon!
