I thought this scene was overdone in the movie, this model is done perfectly. These LEGO barrel riders from The Hobbit have a lot to be worried about! Orcs attacks, smashing into jagged rocks, drowning; just some of the many perils they face!

Not only did Graham Gidman capture the excitement and danger of this scene, he captured the look and feel. Look at that landscaping. It’s gorgeous. And those trees? Spectacular. I LOVE the colors. And the frothing and churning white water rapids are stunning.
