Next time I find myself looking for a job, I will be sure to have a supply of these LEGO business cards on hand. Giving one of these to a potential employer is a sure-fire way to be noticed and remembered.
LEGO business cards
I seen this outstanding idea featured on Cardzgroup. I know LEGO employees have similar “cards”, but it hadn’t occurred to me to make my own. If I can find a sufficient supply of the correct LEGO heads and hairpieces, I will certainly make a boxful of LEGO business cards.
Fronts are printed with a name and a title.
Backs are printed with an e-mail address and URL.
What do you think? Would you remember a person that marketed themselves with LEGO business cards? Would you remember them in a good way?
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
The blank space on the back of business cards provides added opportunities like: … Make a business card magnet: it will last longer than paper and can easily be placed on metal objects, filing cabinets, and refrigerators at home. Consider.blank metal business cards
I have seen that before…

😛
Very interesting anyway :D.
I think it depends on the industry you work in. If its a creative one then I can see these being a potentially effective choice in conjunction with more traditional methods to ensure you are noticed. I work in banking however and would likely get fired/dismissed if I gave one of these to someone. Having said that I do have a series 8 banker minifig on my desk 🙂
As an IT guy, I like to think I could get away with them!
