Normally, I don’t care for brick-built “animals”. They just look silly to me. I prefer the molded LEGO animals like horses and the new cows, pigs, etc. This LEGO dragon is the exception to this rule.
Brick built LEGO dragon
I can’t really describe what draws me to this LEGO dragon. I love the organic look to it. The fluid pose. It’s hard to believe it is indeed built from LEGO bricks.
For the most part, it is incredibly smooth. And where there are visible studs, they serve well as dragon scales. They just feel right.
It’s majestic, really.
What do you think? Do you generally like brick-built organic creations? Do you think it’s bad that this LEGO dragon “doesn’t look like LEGO”? To me, creating something with LEGO that doesn’t look like LEGO is the ultimate compliment.
