I love a good apocalyptic sci-fi movie, and I love Mad Max. What I don’t understand is the love for Fury Road. It was a terrible movie! That being said, this terrible movie did inspire speedyhead to create this beautiful LEGO Fury Road model.
Oh, what a LEGO Fury Road model!
This LEGO Fury Road model captures the look and feel of the Doof Wagon perfectly. I love the speaker build, and the color scheme. The terrain is equally well done. Speedyhead really has an eye for color composition. I love the way the guitar player in red, who I can’t be bothered to look up, just pops against the dark gray background.
I am also impressed by the scale of this Doof Wagon. It’s huge! Again, my distaste for the movie takes nothing away from this model. I can appreciate a good LEGO model no matter the source material, and this is one of them. I am envious of all that wonderful dark gray, and all that tan!
