I am loving Game of Thrones. I’ve read the first 5 books, and the HBO series is fantastic. When I finally get around to creating LEGO Game of Thrones models, I hope they turn out as well as th_squirrel’s.
House Lannister
These LEGO Game of Thrones minifigures are perfect. In case you are having trouble identifying the characters, they are (left to right) Tyrion, Jaime, Cersei, Tywin, and Joffrey Lannister. I think Cersei might be my favorite.
House Stark
Again, these are just awesome. From left to right we have Sansa, Eddard (Ned), Rob, Rickon, Catelyn, Bran, Hodor, Arya, and Jon Snow. Eddard and Sansa are my favorites. I do think Arya could use some work.
If you have not yet read the Song of Ice and Fire books, I urge you to do so. They easily rival the world of Middle Earth and the Lord of the Rings.
Have you come across any good LEGO Game of Thrones models?

I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
I looked it up, and it’s by Justin Cronin. I added the first book to the books I want to read, so I’ll read it eventually. Thanks for letting me know about it. Goodreads is pretty handy, because you can keep track of your books, and you can view recommendations based on the books you’ve read or the ones you want to read, or any of the “shelves” that you make yourself. “Shelf” is the word they use for categories into which you fit your books.
You put the house Lanister image twice. A friend of mine got me into the books, and I really like them.
Whoops! Thanks!
Have you read all 5 yet? I’ve been a lifelong Tolkien fan, and I just might prefer them over the Lord of the Rings.
I think I read through part of 5, but I had to return it to the library before I was done. I hardly ever buy books because I read so much so quickly. I currently have 549 books listed on my “read” shelf on Goodreads.com.
Wow. I thought I was a prolific reader! Right before Book 6 is coming out, you really need to finish Dances with Dragons. I know I plan to re-read it then.
I’ll probably just start over, because I don’t remember where I stopped, unless I have the page number written down somewhere. The number just went up to 550, because I finished another one just before writing this. What other kinds of books do you like? Do you have a Goodreads, or some other, account that I can use to keep in touch with you to get book recommendations, among other things?
I’ve never really tracked my books any where, but I’ll have to check out GoodReads. If you like book series, I’m reading an amazing post-apocalyptic one right now. The first book is The Passage. Book 2 is The Twelve. Waiting for Book 3 to come out. I can’t think of the author off hand. Love the concept of the story, and it’s told sort of in the same style as the Game of Thrones books.
