I spend a lot of time on the internet, and every now and then, I see something that stops me dead in my tracks. These shots of this incredible LEGO lighting did just that.
WOW….
This is some gorgeous photography of some seriously cool models illuminated with superb LEGO lighting.
Good LEGO lighting brings good things to life
These shots almost look as if they were taken on the streets of New York. Everything here just… works. The fire trucks, the ambulances, the police cars are all incredibly well done LEGO models on their one. The buildings, the street lights, the trees, and the other little details flesh out the scene.
The LEGO lighting truly breathes life into the photographs giving a sense of emotion. I love the reflections off the vehicles, the buildings, and even the streets. I love the shadows, and the lens flares. Everything here works well together, and does not feel overdone. These images contain just the right amount of details, thus adding to the realism.
In the shot above, you can see how the light plays off the vehicles, thereby creating shadow and depth. I am in awe of this builder’s talent in various disciplines.
sponki25 has more pictures of these incredibly detailed rescue vehicles. You need to check them out.
This LEGO lighting isn’t for the purist, but what do you think?
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
