They say good things come in small packages. This LEGO micro scale city proves that.
Mini LEGO buildings
Even at micro scale, some buildings are instantly recognizable; Like the Sydney Opera House.
I love the effects that can be achieved using a small number of parts over and over. I think from now on, every time I go to the LEGO store, I am going to look for an element in the Pick-a-Brick wall that could be used to make LEGO micro scale city models. I’ll fill a cup each time, and build a new building each time. Eventually I’ll have my own LEGO micro scale city!
Just a brilliant build. What are some of your favorite LEGO micro scale city creations?

I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
Just saw this today via Twitter. Love this site (first time visit here as well) and this post is fantastic! Great ideas all around. @Tom, we downsized quite considerably as far as square footage and my office has dropped easily in half. I’m thinking I’d like to create micro as well. I’m super excited to get started.
Awesome. Glad you found the website!
I am blown away by this. As you may have guessed by now I’m very into micro scale (imposed due to space) but this is absolutely brilliant. And vastly beyond what I could do (until my kids leave home)
As am I. I just find it incredible the amount of detail one can work into a model so small. I think this takes a lot of talent.
