I know many people are against depicting LEGO military models, but I honestly don’t know where I stand on the issue. They are real world objects that exist. And they play a major part in world history. I guess as long as they are not depicted committing terrible atrocities, and are historically accurate, I don’t have an issue with them.
That being said, I hope you can appreciate these LEGO military models for what they are; amazingly accurate representations of real life vehicles.
I love the base built for this armored vehicle. It looks like sand blowing across thee road. Not sure how I feel about the custom pieces.
Since they were first introduced, I’ve had a fascination with the HUMVEE. I love the chunky look. They have some amazing capabilities, and look like they can take a lot of abuse. And they have proven to be a very versatile platform as these LEGO military models show.
I love the little display bases. I do appreciate that extra effort!
Again, attention to detail. Check out the dirty treads on the vehicles below. Just an awesome LEGO military model.
And who doesn’t appreciate a good ol’ deuce and a half?
So what do you think? Have you found any other excellent examples of LEGO military models? I’d love to see them!
And if you’d like to see more LEGO models by the builder of these, Project Azazel, head over to Flickr. He does some awesome Superhero stuff, too.
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
I know project azazel for a while and he is a great military builder.
I would like lego to sell military sets, but i dont have any problem, as there are many shops or ways to buy or create your military vehicles.
