What do you think of the LEGO Winter Village line? Are you collecting it? Will you add the LEGO Winter Village Market to your holiday display?
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
Hi- I’m new to this but I just discovered the Winter Village and managed to get the retired editions. I will add the Cottage and Christmas Market this month. Now I have a HUGE amount of building to do.
I would appreciate tips for building and storing these things when they’re not on seasonal display. Is there a way to glue sections so it could go together more quickly. Of course it would be important to have access to the lighting bricks to replace batteries. And I would want my grandson to be able to play in them without requiring daily re-builds. ; >
I’d appreciate any information or links to builder sites and resources you would care to share.
Also, are white baseplates available anywhere? Can I get additional blue transparent tiles to enlarge the skating pond? Is there a simple way to add light to the street lamps? Is there a way to get additional horses for the carousel?
Thanks,
rainey
I really love this scene! It’s going to be hard to decide on which winter set to buy this year… the cottage or the christmas market? Love the carrousel!
Thankfully, I’m caught up on the other sets, so it’s the Winter Market for me!
