The more micro scale LEGO stuff I see, the more I like it. That being said, I LOVE this micro scale LEGO Chicago. This particular area of Chicago is one of my favorites. My younger brother used to work and live in Chicago, and we’d spend a lot of time on the Magnificent Mile when we visited. And we ate at the Cheesecake Factory under the John Hancock building every trip.
I am blown away at the detail in the roads. There are crosswalks! And the planters in the boulevard! This is an incredibly detailed 3D map of the area.
Even the Water Tower is immediately recognizable. I feel like i’m back there looking at this micros scale LEGO Chicago.
Rocco Buttliere does beautiful work. Seriously. Check out his stuff.
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
