I love that people are still enamored with Classic Space all these years later as shown by this Classic Space Mining Operation. While many of these models are modern interpretations of classic sets, there may be a few official sets scattered around. I’m not sure. What do you think?
Classic Space Mining Operation For The Win
If the Galaxy Explorer was released today, I have no doubt it would look like this. Classic Space is a classic for a reason. I think most AFOLs today grew up with these adorable spacemen. Back in the day, I had a few red and white minifigures, and one yellow one. That was it. No blue, black, or green. I love the variety of spacemen in this Classic Space Mining Operation!
I just noticed Buzz Lightyear and the Toy Story Martian in the background. Nice touches!
I wonder what they’re drilling for? Some life saving mineral, I’m sure; or possibly an energy source.
There is a LOT to see in this MOC. I urge you to go look for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
