Announced at Brickfair, the next modular building is indeed the LEGO Palace Cinema!
Added to the Expert Creator theme, the LEGO Palace Cinema goes back to the $149.99 price point and contains 2194 pieces, including six minifigures.
With a release date set for March, LEGO towns around the world will soon add an entertainment district to their streets.
The LEGO Palace Cinema harkens back to the golden age of film showcasing timeless black and white brick flicks like the classic horror film The Brick Separator and the powerful love story, Forever Sorting.
Patrons of your LEGO Palace Cinema will not go hungry after stopping by the concession stand on the first floor.
After stocking up on refreshments, movie goers will move upstairs to enjoy the show.
Seating is limited at the LEGO Palace Cinema so patrons are advised to arrive early!
I for one am excited about this set, put would have preferred a non-corner style building. It would have allowed for more room and seating inside. This modification might be necessary…

I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
It’s so pretty! That’s the kind of model I like!
Agreed. These modulars buildings are by far my favorite sets to come out in a very long time. So well done.
Red baseplate. Have you noticed it? 🙂
Really??? I didn’t notice that!
Yup, seems to be pretty special… the designer says so in the film about her creation 🙂
Yahoeaaaa… 😀 Can’t wait! What a great addition to the modular line! Don’t have any negatives really…
