Let me just get this out of the way. Paul Wellington is a gifted artist. His LEGO microscale skyline photography is brilliant. Which is better? The model or the photography?
What an amazing LEGO microscale skyline
Ok, so as much as I love LEGO photography, I have to admit, this MOC is more impressive. It’s expansive. It’s diverse. It’s detailed. It’s incredible. I love this overhead shot. It really gives you a sense of the density of this LEGO model.
Ok, this is just a ridiculously good use of old brick separators! Every building is packed with innovative techniques like this. Very inspiring!
I hope that this doesn’t mean this LEGO city has stopped growing? I would absolutely love to do something like this, but downtown Detroit is just not that interesting. A model done at this scale would be no where near as impressive. 🙁
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
