This LEGO sewing machine makes me want to break out our old sewing machine. Yes, I know how to sew!
I wish this LEGO sewing machine was functional, too!
Back in the day, I used to make intricate Halloween costumes. To make good costumes, I needed to know how to sew, so I went to the library, and got some books. My wife had gotten a sewing machine for Christmas one year, and I just started playing around with it. I got pretty darn good at it if I do say so myself. Sadly, once the kids got older and into more activities, I had less time to make costumes. 🙁
This LEGO sewing machine makes me want to get back into it. I LOVE all the details. Even though this is a vintage Singer, a lot of the same things are on modern machines. I might not remember the names of the various parts, but I bet I could thread this baby and get to work!
I’d love to have this beauty as a display piece in my house. Just a classic design. So sleek and elegant.
What other hobbies do you enjoy that might not be considered mainstream?
