Hey guys!
I had my first problem with a LEGO S@H shipment. I ordered a bunch of the holiday sets to take advantage of all the recent promotions and decided to have it shipped to my work address. I work downtown and our building has a manned security gate 24/7/365. I figured it was my safest option for delivery!
I was wrong. Last week I saw the shipping notification, but didn’t think much of it. Monday I was out sick, so Tuesday I thought I’d track the package to see when I might get it. I was shocked to see it was delivered on Saturday. Excited, I started making calls to see where my package might be.
No one had it. And worse, security had no record of FedEx making a delivery. I started looking at the shipper, and noticed there was no signature required for delivery.
I quickly called LEGO customer service, and they were great. They looked at it briefly, and sent out a new shipment (which I got the next day!). I asked if they could require a signature, and they said no, but the driver would only leave a package if they thought it was safe. It’s not. My building requires round-the-clock security for a reason. No way could the driver have thought it was safe. So I wonder what actually happened to that package.
Anyone else have a S@H package not show up? Was LEGO cool about it?
