Having woken to a 24″ wall of ice at the foot of my driveway this morning, courtesy of the snowplows, I thought I’d show you some LEGO snow effects I really like. After all, ’tis the season!
I love the LEGO snow effect of sheets of snow slowly sliding off the roof. And the snow in the trees is a nice touch, though I don’t see how it could be LEGO snow.
Ah, the spring thaw! Love the patches of LEGO snow left behind as the warm weather comes creeping back. I would expect a lot of mud to be present though. That is some icy looking water! I love this build, but based on the amount of LEGO snow on the ground, I would expect more to be present on the tower. I do love the LEGO snow covered bush though!
Have you seen many LEGO snow covered creations? What’s your favorite?
I am an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) and an active member of the Michigan LEGO User Group (MichLUG). I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember. I am currently working on the following models:
– UCS Millenium Falcon
– Emmett’s Apartment Building
– Gringott’s Bank
I really like these snow effects. Somewhere on the internet I saw the contestants of a MOC-contest where they had to make MOC’s that were an extension of the winter-village. I was impressed with some of the snow effects in those MOCs too!
Just gorgeous builds!
Those are beautiful!
